TITANE
The GRVL900 ti frame is the result of a close collaboration between our engineers and designers, and the titanium experts at Dedacciai. The two teams worked together to match the needs of the users, the Triban design and signature, and the material constraints.
Titanium is a material that brings a lot of comfort thanks to its mechanical properties. On the other hand, it is difficult to work with, with many constraints. This is one of the reasons why we needed to surround ourselves with experts. "We have been working with titanium since our creation in the 1990s. The tubes are machined, shaped, ovalized and bent in-house to create the various frame shapes and sizes. They are then brushed, then stuck. This represents about ten hours of work per frame, before they go to the Bonetti welder," explains Luca Locatelli, one of the founders of Dedacciai.
The proximity with Italy was also an asset: before the confinement and the tension of the sanitary context, Louis Motte, executive engineer, Clément Boens, designer and Eric Goussen, product manager, went to Dedacciai to design a first prototype, and launch a project that will be fast in its development.

"The geometry of this bike has been designed to be as comfortable as possible: we have kept the raised position that is characteristic of the Triban range, with a longer top tube to increase tire/foot clearance, and a shorter stem. The whole thing offers an even more comfortable position. The steering angle is set at 71.5°, to offer a great compromise between handling and stability needed for Gravel" explains Louis, the frame engineer.
Titanium provides absorption, but the comfort is also in the tubes: we use the right thicknesses and diameters, thanks to the expertise of Dedacciai.
As the frames are guaranteed for life, many laboratory resistance tests are performed. Front fatigue, which simulates impacts or rough braking; pedaling fatigue, which simulates extreme pedaling; and seatpost fatigue, which simulates the user's weight. Impacts on the rear part of the frame are also performed. This guarantees a good resistance to all conditions.
The Dedacciai tubes are welded in Veneto, at the Bonetti brothers, who have 50 years of experience. A meticulous and handcrafted work that limits the production to a maximum of 100 frames per month.
Once the frames are finished, the bikes are assembled in the Lille factory next to Triban's headquarters. They are assembled by the same technician from start to finish. This assembly process ensures that each GRVL900 ti is manufactured with the utmost care.

Working with titanium is unique: the constraints are strong, and the material noble. Our designer worked on sober and raw shapes, and a simple and uncluttered marking to keep the purity of titanium. The front is massive and robust, ready to face challenging trails. The rear is thinner, lighter, to recall the common DNA with the road bike.
